Thermal Control

sol-thermalcontrolContamination is defined broadly as any material, substance or energy which adversely affects the function of the product.  One such energy contaminant is heat.  Thermal contamination is a component of many manufacturing processes such as metal forming, molding, stamping and machining.  In thermal spray processes, process contamination such as excessive (or insufficient) surface heat can impact splat geometry and cohesion during the application of molten coatings.  In this regard, managing surface contamination such as surface temperature is a very important process step for manufacturing reliable hardware.  Excessive heat contamination is also damaging to expensive processing hardware such as cutting tools, dies, and other production equipment.

Cleanlogix offers clean manufacturing technology and expertise for providing precise surface temperature control for thermal spray coating operations, molding operations, progressive stamping operations, and metalworking operations.
